Take your career or knowledge of safety to the next level with classes at Illinois Public Safety Training, LLC. We offer a variety of training programs for BASSET (Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training) certification courses. If you're interested in a career that serves or sells alcoholic beverages, we can help you get there.

This is an employer preferred classroom training course where you'll inmmediately receive your training certificate for "on or off premise" certification. This is an interactive classroom training where your questions can be immediately answered by professionals with teaching degrees and law enforcement experience. This is not an online class.

This seller-server course will take you through the fundamentals of alcohol training for your seller-server certificate. Once the course has been completed, you will have a good understanding of the laws that govern the sale of alcohol and the skills needed to legally serve and sell alcohol. These cards must be carried by the person whose name appears on the card if involved in the selling and/or serving of alcoholic liquor. Basset Certificates are required in all of Illinois.

Illinois Public Safety Training is a training and education company based in Midlothian, IL. We help clients gain the skills they need to advance their careers and improve public safety in their communities. Our facilities are clean and modern, and our instructors are professionals with proven experience in their fields.

Company owner Gary L. Carr is a career public safety professional who started his public safety career in 1976 at the Willow Springs Police Department. He retired from that police department in 2011 — after 35 years — at the rank of Sergeant. Mr. Carr has attended Northwestern's School of Police Staff and Command as well as their executive management and senior leadership programs. He holds a master's degree in public safety administration and a bachelor's degree in law enforcement management.
